  • Liquid helium transfer lines
  • Cryogenic Hall probe and gaussmeter
  • Automatic nitrogen filling mechanism
  • Vacuum pumping stations

The renowned Environment by Janis SuperVariTemp insert from Lake Shore operates from 1.5 K to 325 K, and is featured in the SuperVariMag, OptiMag, and SuperOptiMag systems, and is also available as an independent insert for use with existing magnets.

We also offer a variety of superconducting magnet systems that offer a room temperature bore (with inserts that reach 800 K) along with a variety of other systems that are designed for specific applications. These state-of-the-art systems feature integrated designs for the cryostat, magnet, temperature controller, and programmable power supply, together with a complete line of ancillary equipment.

Cryogen-free versions

Available for both optical and non-optical applications, our DryMag™ cryogen-free superconducting magnet systems are offered in both room temperature bore configurations and variable temperature integrated configurations for operation from below 2 K to 300 K. Non-optical systems are also offered with vertical room temperature bore tubes, along with a top-loading cryogen-free cryostat for operation between 1.5 K and 300 K or higher. The magnets are typically cooled through reliable Gifford-McMahon or pulse-tube coolers for lower vibrations. The independent variable-temperature cryostats can also be used separately for ultimate convenience.

Optional measurement system also available for the DryMag™ for these types of measurements:

  • Hall voltage
  • IV curve
  • Resistance (four probe and van der Pauw)
  • Magnetoresistance
  • Magnetotransport
  • Magneto-optical
  • Hall coefficient
  • Hall mobility
  • Anomalous Hall effect (AHE)
  • Carrier type/concentration/density
