ZNH8
30kHz to 8 GHz VNA
The R&S®ZNH is a full 2-port handheld vector network analyzer and comes in four models with maximum frequency of 4 GHz, 8 GHz, 18 GHz or 26.5 GHz. It offers standard measurement features such as cable and antenna analysis and full S-parameters measurements. R&S®ZNH is targeting mainly ADT (radar system and satellite ground station installation and maintenance) and ICR (passive and active component characterization in R&D and production), but is of course also a useful handheld tool for all other segments.
Regarding usability, the R&S®ZNH is low in complexity: With an easy and flexible calibration concept, users can at a glance check and select from a range of calibration methods. Having a four-receiver architecture, the instrument allows the use of highly accurate calibration standards such as TOSM and UOSM. Upon selecting the desired calibration standard, the calibration sequence remains user-definable which is a USP.
R&S®ZNH is also high in precision: It has a built-in receiver step attenuator at both ports which is unique in the handheld class and increases port input power range linearity. Additionally, it features 16,001 measurement points for distance-to-fault measurement on very long cables. Further, the R&S®ZNH excels with low trace noise for stable, reproducible and precise measurements even at higher IF bandwidths and with a good dynamic range of 100 dB, typically.
